Nearly three months into their Latin American leg of Workationing, Kari and Kelly have learned a thing or two about what it’s like to be Gringas in a strange land. Medellín, Colombia is on a whole different level than Puerto Rico, and the ladies are learning this lesson the hard way.
The way the women are treated – and treat each other – in Medellín is unlike anything The Gringas are used to. What happens when their white lady privilege gets stripped away, and they go from protected class to gringa status? Nothing good, as it turns out.
